First stop is the American Cemetery and War Memorial which is a cemetery honoring the allied servicemen and Americans who fought and died fighting the Japanese forces during World War II. Immediately afterwards, the Rizal Park & Monument (Luneta Park) an iconic park that carries with it a rich history, as it is the location where the country's National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal was executed. Next proceed to Intramuros and San Agustin Church. The places inside Intramuros will take you back to the Spanish-Filipino era and the oldest church in the Philippines. Inside the Walled City, you will find the Baluarte San Diego/Fort Santiago & Museum where it is considered as the oldest stone fort in Manila. Finally, the National Museum is composed of a significant number of paintings, sculptures, icons, sketches, mixed media, and photographs by Filipino visual artists.
